Mark L. Schuh Defends School District in Personal Injury Matter

Mark L. Schuh, an associate at CMR, recently defended a school district in a personal injury matter arising from an injury which occurred in a school playground.  The plaintiff contended that the injury was caused by a dangerous condition in the ground cover of which the school district had actual or constructive (presumed) notice.  The matter concluded in a jury trial. 

After deliberating for less than one hour, the jury unanimously found that the ground cover, which the plaintiff claimed caused the injury, was reasonably safe and, accordingly, the jury returned a verdict for the defense.
