JBLS Hon. Steven I. Milligram Memorial Fund

On April 28, 2020, we tragically lost one of our former partners and great friend, the Hon. Steven I. Milligram.  

Steve, among many other things, served on the Executive Board of the Justice Brandeis Law Society, which has created the JBLS Hon. Steven I. Milligram Memorial Fund in his memory.  Steve was more than just an incredible trial attorney and a respected jurist.  He was a true asset to our community, who inspired and mentored many young lawyers throughout his more than thirty-five (35) years of practice.  Whether he was judging for the NYSBA Mock Trial competition, teaching a Mock Trial team the finer points of courtroom practice, serving as a coach and administrator for the local Pop Warner football league, or going to Pace Law School annually to speak with students, Steve always took so much pleasure helping young people be the very best they can be.  

JBLS Hon. Steven I. Milligram Memorial Fund supports high quality, innovative, educational programming opportunities for students of all ages, residents in the Ninth Judicial District, who are contemplating a career in the law. The Memorial Fund will enable these recipients to obtain meaningful exposure to the law, helping them to achieve their dreams of a future in the legal profession. Steve will always live on in our hearts and minds. Now, through the JBLS Hon. Steven I. Milligram Memorial Fund, his memory will be perpetuated as he would have wanted.

The JBLS Hon. Steven I. Milligram Memorial Fund is established through the Westchester Community Foundation, which is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.  All contributions are tax deductible.  If you wish to make a contribution to the JBLS Hon.
