Mary J. Tamburri joined Catania, Mahon & Rider as an Associate in 2025. Mary’s practice is concentrated in estate planning and administration, estate litigation and adult guardianships.
Her trusts and estates practice focuses on creating individualized plans tailored to each client’s personal and financial needs. In Mary’s adult guardianship practice, she is on the New York State Court’s Part 36 List, approved to serve as attorney for the alleged incapacitated person and court evaluator in Article 81 guardianships. She is also on the Part 36 list approved to serve as guardian ad litem in Surrogate’s Court matters.
Prior to joining CMR, Mary began her estate planning and administration career with Couch White, LLP in Albany. She also interned with the Rensselaer County Surrogate’s Court during law school.
Mary earned her Juris Doctor from Albany Law School in 2021, graduating summa cum laude. She graduated from Ithaca College in 2017 cum laude.
