Joseph Pidel joined Catania, Mahon & Rider, PLLC after graduating from Albany Law School in May of 2021. Joseph focuses his practice on general litigation, including, but not limited to, property damage; general commercial litigation; insurance defense; and land use disputes.
Joseph is admitted to practice in New York State.
Prior to joining Catania, Mahon & Rider, PLLC, Joseph earned a B.A. in Mathematics from St. Joseph’s College on Long Island, where Joseph was raised. After earning experience as high school mathematics teacher, Joseph attended Albany Law School, where he served as the Executive Director of the Albany Law School Moot Court Program and was a member of various school organizations, including the Albany Law School Student Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Throughout law school, Joseph also gained legal experience in both the public and private sectors, including serving as a judicial intern for Hon. Christine M. Clark, New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Department. Upon graduating from Albany Law School, Joseph was inducted into the National Order of Barristers and was awarded the Robert A. Barker Award for his dedication in the continuing excellence of the school’s Moot Court Program.
